HARRODS FOIE GRAS

background / problem:
The aim of this project was to redesign a range in decline.
The target audience included affluent grocery loyalists and local connoisseurs as well as tourists. The product had to convey luxury and quality.
The product sits in a dimly lit area of the Harrods Fresh Market Hall, so bright, vivid colours were used to make them visible. The use of purple and orange colours help differentiate between the goose and duck products, supported by the intricate illustrations.
In each case there are added value, truffle-flavoured variants that are marked with additional truffle patterns executed with a spot gloss varnish on the otherwise matt surface.
