Packaging design

In-house at Harrods, 2019

background / problem:

The intent of this project was to redesign a range in decline. The new design had to convey luxury and quality, aiming to appeal to affluent grocery loyalists, local connoisseurs as well as tourists.

The product sits in a dimly lit area of the Harrods Fresh Market Hall, so bright, vivid colours were used to make them visible. The use of purple and orange colours help differentiate between the goose and duck products, supported by the intricate illustrations.

In each case there are added value, truffle-flavoured variants that are marked with additional truffle patterns executed with a spot gloss varnish on the otherwise matt surface.
